From 4–13 September 2026, the world's top 16 national teams will compete in Berlin for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup title. The FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup is the highest level of international women's basketball, bringing together the world's strongest national teams every four years.
The 2026 tournament features an expanded field of 16 teams competing across ten days of world-class basketball. The new competition format rewards group winners with direct qualification to the quarter-finals before the tournament continues through a knockout stage.
