PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Junckers solid hardwood planks are factory finished and ready to install in accordance to Junckers Laying Instructions. A plank is made as one whole floorboard and is along the length of the board provided with a bevelled edge of approx. 0.5 mm. Each plank is tongued and grooved on all four sides.

SHIPSDECKING
Strip made of foamed PVC with closed cells to absorb natural movements in the hardwood floor, see fig. 1.
The strip measures 3x8 mm (1/8" x 5/16") and installed it provides a 2 mm (5/64″) wide joint, which varies over the year according to changes in the relative humidity.
We do not recommend shipsdecking for Glue Down System.

WHALEBONE / HERRINGBONE PLANKS
Junckers plank floors are also available as patterned floors. This means that the floorboards are cut to fixed lengths and are delivered in a right- and left-handed version. This enables installation in different patterns, e.g. herringbone. Whalebone is delivered surface treated from the factory.

Oak, ultra matt and silk matt:
