DIRECTION FOR USE

Untreated/sanded floors:
Ensure that the surface is absolutely clean, dry and free from dust, wax, grease, polish etc. Unevenness, dirt and discolouration can be removed by sanding in direction of the grain. Final sanding must be with sandpaper grit 100- 120. Vacuum sanding dust.

Depending on expected wear, prime with 1-2 coats of Professional Hardwax Oil. Remove surplus material using a buffing machine and a soft cloth or pad. When dry apply the finishing coat.

To increase gloss, buff using white pad after a minimum of 16 hours.

Previously treated floors:
Machine sand using grit 24-36. Remove abrasion marks with grit 60-80. Finally, use grit 100-120 to obtain a completely smooth surface. Vacuum sanding dust and apply Professional Hardwax Oil as described under “Untreated/ sanded floors”.

Regular cleaning:
Sweep or vacuum, and when necessary wipe with a well wrung out mop or cloth. To help removal of dirt from the surface a solution of SylvaCleaner can be added to the cleaning water.

Maintenance:
Use Rustic Top Oil for refreshing of the surface.

For worn through surfaces use Professional Hardwax Oil to restore the surface.
