With Junckers you can choose among different wood species, gradings, surface treatments and line markings.

A Junckers sports floor is made from 100% solid hardwood and will last for generations. Each floor board is made from two rows of staves and is tongue and groove jointed all round.

The floors are extremely stable and therefore cause no challenges when humidity levels change through the year. We take far longer than normal over the drying process to ensure that the movements that occur naturally in all wood is fully controlled and kept to a minimum. Our Beech sports floors are dried using Junckers unique press drying method. Our ash and maple sports floors are kiln dried.

Our floors are ready to use as soon as they are fitted. This is because Junckers floors are sealed in the factory with our own produced hard wearing polyurethane lacquer.

All Junckers solid hardwood sports floors have the Danish Indoor Climate Certificate for low emissions of organic substances and can be delivered with either a FSC® or PEFC™ accreditation.

We guarantee fast and easy installation. Each floor board has a length of 3700mm and covers approx. 0.5 m².

THE UNOBAT 45 SYSTEM CAN BE USED FOR MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES

The brand new sports facility Illyés-Aramis Futsal Sportcsarnok is being used for multiple sports activities, such as futsal, handball, volleyball and basketball as well as cultural events on both a domestic and an international level.

The high performance and technical properties of the floor and the fact that the 2017 European Basketball Championship was played on a Junckers Sports floor made the architect choose Junckers.

The arena is equipped with 1100 m² Junckers Sports Floor “Beech SylvaSport Club” on a Junckers UnoBAT 45 Club.

The UnoBat 45 undercarriage system has the world’s lowest construction height for A4 high performance sports floors installed on batten constructions. UnoBat 45 is also very easy and fast to install making it possible to keep down both costs and building time.

Club

This grade has a rustic look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the individual staves. Several small and large knots and natural fine splits occur. Knots and other irregularities are to the greatest extent possible factory filled with a one colour filler.

Premium

This grade has a natural look with more colour and structural graining variation between the individual staves. Medium sized knots and natural fine splits occur to some degree. Knots and other irregularities are factory filled with a one colour filler.

Champion

This grade has a uniform look with some colour and structural graining variation between the individual staves. Few small knots and natural fine splits occur.

All Junckers sports floor boards measures 22 mm × 129 mm (thickness x width).

All floors are prefinished from factory with either an Ultra matt or Silkmatt lacquer, except our Beech SylvaSquash which is unsealed and has a slightly roughened surface.
