GUIDELINES FOR ARTWORK TO JUNCKERS SPORTS FLOORS

Floor size
This sports floor is built of wooden panels measuring 1800 mm x 517,5 mm.
On the finished sports floor there will be a gap of 0.5mm between the long sides of each panel. This makes the tiles in the document 1800mm x 518mm.
The document must be created at a scale of 1:10, just like the ”Basket Master.pdf”.
This document is adapted to the size of the panels.

If the width of the floor is to be changed, it can be changed in increments of 518 mm (51.8 mm in the document, as the size ratio is 1:10).

If the length of the floor is to be changed, it can be changed in increments of 900 mm (90 mm in the document, as the size ratio is 1:10).
Illustrator
The document must be made in Illustrator and saved as PDF with “Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities”.
Do not make bleeds or registration marks.
Avoid flattening the graphics.
Use default settings when saving as pdf: no color conversion / do not include profiles.
Graphics
All graphic must be made in outline – strokes and typography must be converted to outline.
The layer ”Wood Panels” is a non-printing layer. It is created to show You how the graphics will look on the wooden floor.
Colors
Colors must be made in CMYK or as spot colors from Pantone’s color range in Illustrator.
The printed colors are transparent, therefore a non transparent” White ink” has to be printed underneath the colors.
If a transparent color is desired, please let us know. We can provide test prints.
“White ink”
A non transparent spot color ” White ink” has to be printed underneath the color print.
The spot color ”White ink” can only be used in the “White ink” layer . No other colors than the spot color “White ink” can be used in this layer.
All graphic in the “White ink” layer must be made with “overprint fill”.
If a transparent white is desired, please let us know. We can provide test prints.
The ”White ink” layer should be the second-top layer.
“Varnish”
All printed areas must be covered with the spot color “Varnish”.
The spot color ”Varnish” can only be used in the ”Varnish” layer. No other colors than the spot color “Varnish” can be used in this layer.
All graphic in this layer must be made with “overprint fill”.
The spot color ”Varnish” ensures that the final coat of varnish on the entire sports floor adheres perfectly.
The ”Varnish” layer should be the top layer
